and make people happy, especially since her early years had
been so traumatic. At 18 years of age, Caylee decided to take
control of her own destiny. With only $100 in her pocket,
she packed her car and moved to Los Angeles, chasing her
dream.
Caylee has relied on one of her favorite quotes: “You can’t
have a testimony without a test.” She explained, “I say that
often and even wrote it into a funny song, because you can’t
inspire somebody without going through the dirt. If you
were born into circumstances that weren’t ideal, and the ma-

jority of us weren’t, I always knew things COULD happen
with God. That’s what would get me through the day. I pray
I’m an inspiration to others, no matter what their circum-
stances, to never give up.”
Rejection became like a game to me,” Caylee said. “I’d
cheer myself on, and even after being rejected by 11 different
drama schools, I still didn’t stop. I knew one day I’d make it,
and my testimony would be better because I was rejected so
much.”
And, Caylee knows a thing or two about hearing God’s
